Blade made of durable Zladinox composite (damask) ocelof our production. Zladinox (ZLAtoust + Damast + INOX - adable) - under this name AIR; R products gained recognition in the European market I at the international exhibitions IWA, Macher Messe Solingen, S.I.C.A.C. (Paris). The company uses the designation: the first letters of the name ZDI-1016: ZDI - high carbon high-alloyed (weather-resistant) compositions. The first two digits in the designation correspond to the average carbon content, the second two digits to the average content of alloying elements. The high carbon content and the presence of special carbides (chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, etc.) provide the blades with high operational (cutting properties, strength, etc.) and decorative properties. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that the high carbon content and heterogeneity of the chemical composition in the ZDI-1016 composition somewhat reduces their corrosion resistance.

To protect the blade from corrosion, it is recommended to follow the rules:

After working, thoroughly clean the blade from dirt, rinse it with cold water without the use of detergents, especially those containing abrasive particles, and wipe it with a dry cloth (soft cloth); before long-term storage, cover the blade with a thin layer of vegetable oil (olive or clove oil, portrait oil, etc.) or synthetic oil; it is possible to use wax polishes; keep the Nůž in a cool, dry place; protect the Nůž from mechanical damage during storage; for long-term storage, remove the Nůž from the case.
